Life is so complicated...

Jack finally realizes baby brother isn't going anywhere and its a little stressful. Don't worry though, that's only milk in the cup. He has started to cope by playing the game of calling dada "John." You can just imagine how NOT funny this is.

Piglet

At only 2 weeks of age, Aiden already has 2 nicknames: Poops McGee and Piglet. You are supposed to only have 1 poopie diaper for every day old, but not this guy. He's had about 14 a day from day 2. We like to think of him as an early over-achiever. He earned piglet by making more grunting noises at all times of day, including in his sleep, than a farm animal. We were actually thinking about upgrading him to Warthog, but he's just too cute.

Blog Renaming

Not that anyone is paying all that much attention, but we're renaming the blog "The Frat House". We will change the web address eventually.

The name comes from Clarissa's response upon coming home after giving birth. Jack and I had been home for WAY too long together. So the apartment had acquired a certain "guy" feel to it (empties, both beer and sippy cups; empty Chinese food containers; pizza boxes; both TVs on; etc.). Upon seeing this so-called disaster area, Clarissa remarked: "It's like living in a freaking frat house."

Jack and I were polite enough to remind her that this is her life now. And we laughed and laughed.

Jack meets Aiden

Jack came, saw, and wasn't interested. Jack overall is not impressed with his little brother. He did hold his hand momentarily, but has pretty much ignored the little sweety except to give him the occasional stink eye. Hopefully he'll warm up soon.

Welcome Aiden

Welcome to Jack's baby brother Aiden Edward. Born on Friday, November 3rd at 1:19 p.m. He was quite a big boy, 8 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches long. And he also has the biggest feet we've ever seen on a newborn. With those paws, if he was a puppy, you wouldn't pick him out for apartment living. Hopefully he won't chew on the furniture. He is a very sweet boy and the perfect completion to our family.
